Times Square Midnight Run 2009 *NEW VIDEO*

This last weekend was a hell of a time. I met up with Mike (MPD47) and a bunch of the AKA / Blown Euros / Revmat.ch guys and we went on a little cruise around NYC with about 70+ cars.

You name it, and someone was driving it. The cars included a Carrara GT, a bunch of Aston Martins, Ferraris, BMWs, etc. I have a good amount of film to sort though.

Mike was driving around a friends GTR. (See his impressions thread HERE) Earlier in the day we all stopped by the Formula D event in NJ, where kids actually bowed down when he passed in that car, lol. :thankyou:

Here are some pics from a bunch of different photographers. I’ll add more as I find the good ones. I’m sure Mike has some as well.

We got a few comments on the quality we rolled in with

I think our next big event is going to be an airport shootout in September.

More pics and video soon!

s13 is hot

My elise was straight piped…

It didn’t really sound good.

fucking hell that looks awesome. how didnt i know about this i totally would have went… :banghead:

looks like a sick time!

pics look cool, but that does NOT look like fun.lol NYC traffic sucks a big dick and id rather walk when im there.

It was straight piped with a single resonator (elise), I lied. For a track car I think it was great, I would kill someone if I had to drive it on the the street.

Some guys in SAAB Turbos blew past us and sprayed my camera and myself with a light coat of oil… I wasn’t too happy. Other than that, the only hiccups were security guards flipping out everywhere we went, lol.

It’s not THAT bad. You just have to stay alert. I stayed in Midtown with my Range Rover. Valet parking and power fold mirrors help though.

love the shot of the GTR minus mike’s arm hanging out of the window

OT: Just as I opened this thread, Basshunter - Professional party people started playing.

Looks like it was a good time.

ITs sad tha ttime square is going to be closed to vehicle traffic soon

Haha I was thinking the same thing. People must love sitting in traffic and dodging dumb ass tourists crossing the road with their Ferrari.

I guess the only benefit was the number of people that get to check out your car and its effect on ones ego

It’s not. Just Broadway has been closed for almost a month, not 7th. So you can still drive though it north/south.
