sucks to be you! LOL

doesnt the image have to be still to get HDR?

so how is that HDR? he probably just ps the shit out of it.

either way it looks awesome!

No, HDR images are not limited to stills. A camera that will do hdr like that will cost you out the ass though.

What are you guys talking about? It’s called Exposure Bracketing and the cheapest SLR’s do it. You are able to take 1 shot and get 3 different exposures to make an HDR.

Ah yes, i should have been more clear. Digi cam to do that setup would be pretty pricey. haha.

What software are the images run though after to “stitch” the images together?

3 most popular are

  1. Photoshop
  2. HDR Soft
  3. Photomatix Pro

Ofcourse I can’t give you all the secrets :001_tt2:

Photoshop in CS3 has a HDR setting in the menu to blend all 3 images together. Otherwise you can Google for instructions on how to blend the images together.

how does one get 3 exposures from 1 picture? when i want to take an HDR pic i just take 3 pics of different exposures then PS them together.

Look up Exposure Bracketing and use it. You can take 1 image and the camera will over expose 1 image and under expose 1 images and take 1 regular image. So you take 1 pic and you camera will store 3. It’s the best way for action shots like these. Doesn’t work if you want to do sport HDR if you have to do 3 seperate exposures. You would never get the shot unless it was posed.
