How do you do it?
A girl in my MBA class has a Mac with OSX 10.4 (Tiger) and Office 2004. She can’t open our professor’s Office '07 docs.
Is there a patch?

I’ve had this problem before. It should prompt you too install a converter if I’m not mistaken
Edit: doubt that this will work but what if you just changed the extention from .docx to .doc
Or try using openoffice. http://www.openoffice.org/
.docx son… at least thats what the windows version did
you can download a patch for old office to open new office on windows
Last I checked, there is no patch for the Mac version of office, but there’s a converter.
Yeah, what pug-face said.
Except you’re wrong when it comes to macs.
office 2008 should be coming out soon for macs
edit: i think its already out
Pages will open Office 07 docs (.docx)
^Use this.^ We don’t have Office 08 in our labs yet so I’ve installed this for the time being to let students open the .docx files.
Also, Office 2008 for Mac was announced today at Macworld.
Tell the retarded professor to save them in Word 97-03 compatibility.
