Bone stock… I’m keeping this one as stock as can be. this car is way to original to change… i’m only the second owner… A friend of my dads is doing the paint work… Its the last car he’s ever doing…or so he says.
now my 84 hurst is a different story. That one will either be rocket 350 powered or turbo 6.

its been quite a while since i posted pics so here we go…
look at the packaging the door weatherstrip comes in from GM…
new hood pad from GM… always thought they were more black… i guess i see them once they are dirty…
NOS Header Badge…i took it in the a$$ on this one… $$$$
NOS Front plate… i cracked the clear cover…and i dont care that the clear cover is not correct, i need to proctect that $100 licence plate!!!
here are some pics painting the t-top edges and center bar with SEM trim black… this may be the best product i ever used… this stuff came out absolutely beautiful and smooth. it leveled itself out sooo nice. i buffed out the stainless trim on the t-tops as well.
the last set of pics if when i installed the nos black bumper strips and installed the bumper covers on the car… the bumper covers didnt turn out as nice as the rest of the car BUT… these covers were off my 81 parts car and are not WAVY like 90% of the 83 hursts you will see at the Nats… i think it looks aweful to repaint a car and use those nasty rippled covers. they dont look as noticable on a high mile car when they are all dulled out but on a glossy repaint they look like shit.
