p28 or p06

I have an (d16z6) obd 2 civic running a conversion harness to an obd1 p28 ecu, im upgrading my turbo parts and need a new ecu. Should i just chip the p28 or buy an already chipped p06? im new to the ecu and tunning thing so any help is appreciated. thanks

chip the p28…its a VTEC ecu and the p06 isnt. you would have to convert the p06 to a p28 and then chip it.

chipped p28. how is ur d16z6 an obdII?

my car is a 99, the d16y8 was replaced with a d16z6. Im currenty running the stock y8 harness and the stock p2p ecu with no issues. But im going to be upgrading turbo setups so id be using my conversion harness and p28, since i cant chip or tune the p2p

P06 or P05 and conversion will cost less

but what do i know of these things.

whys that? i think he already has the ecu

sell the p28 for 100
but po6 for 20 and have it converted and chipped for much less than 80… profit.

yeah i have a chance to get an already chipped p06 so i might do that
