I have a quick ECU question
can a p05 be chipped and converted to a p28, like a p06 can be?
does a p05 have the same board as a p06/p28?
p28 is a ls ecu i think … im sure it can be made to do anything … i really dont know that much about the ecu’s/ chiping side
well im just curious if the p05 is the same board as the p06. I know the p06 is the same board as the p28…it just doesn’t have the components for VTEC
you can convert a non vtec ecu to a vtec ecu. Turbociv converted, then chipped my ls ecu to a gsr (p72 i believe).Id shoot him a pm.

the car is no where close to being done. i need to find engine mounts and i need a different transmission lol
also i need a ECU i can chip and put a basemap on
what mounts do u need? i have a car that i can cut the stock mounts out of… just cant get the mounts off the motor
I need EF mounts, I need the rear mount/bracket and the timing belt side mount.
you can convert a p05 to p28 by doing the same conversion you would on a P06, the only difference is that a P06 will run a 4 wire o2 sensor and the P05 uses a single wire o2 sensor

I’ll be making a digikey order very shortly (a day or two) to get everything I could possibly want or need for Honda ECU work, and I’m able to do whatever you need. I will be charging for it though. So if you can find someone to help for free, that would be your best bet.
