you will not lose w/ either kooks or american racing, turn off the rear 02s and have no CEL. enjoy ur new found hp/tq and some good sound.

American racing 1-3/4 or the 1-7/8s if you plan on a cam + more.

id do the catted mid pipes unless you like the smell, because modern high flow cats are plenty efficient, and a couple HP isnt worth the trouble of inspections and that nasty exhaust smell.

the American racing headers are about 1400-1500$. if you can handle the install youll save a bunch, but still need the PCM recalibrated after. 350-500$ for that probably

it was actually proven that on a H/C 346ci motor, between 1 3/4" long tubes compared too 1 7/8"…the 1 3/4" actually made the same amount of power…however, when it came too 383+ C.I LSx’s, the 1 7/8’s shined.

exh should be tailored around the motor and needs ,to big ya lose low end ,to small ya lose top end on a stock internal motor there is no reason for long tubes and no cats ,unless it has nitrous or f/i .sure it sounds cool and ya can brag but sometimes ya lose power in crucial areas

i do not have an 01 paul.

i have an 04 black on black ZED with

-ECS supercharger kit (paxton novi 2000)
-American Racing headers 1 7/8" headers
-American Racing long tubes 3" with no cats
-B&B bullets
-Textrilla twin disc 6 puck
-ECS custom diff brace

wheels and other goodies blah etc etc etc

i have no codes. they turn off the rear o2 and u are able to fail 2 parameters i beileve and still pass.

I dont know why I thought it was an '01.
