Passover Coke

I love this fucking time of year.

Coke and Pepsi (in cities with decent sized Jewish populations, including Pittsburgh), release kosher versions of their colas every year for Passover.

I’m not Jewish, and I know most of you aren’t either, but it is a windfall for us nonetheless:

Kosher Coke and Pepsi contain no High Fructose Corn Syrup, because HFCS is unkosher. They are sweetened with pure sucrose instead, which makes the soda taste a thousand times fucking better. Also, many people are wary of health effects of HFCS, while sucrose is just sugar.

We accidentally got a few dozen 2 liters at work, and I’ll probably end up buying half of them. If you can find any, buy it.

kosher pepsi is marked KP on the cap very small. tons of it at both giant eagles on murray ave

kosher coke will have a triangle on the cap with “cRc” inside of it.

i was hoping for new toppings for the matzos

but guess that is pretty neat never knew they had kosher coke and pepsi

Humm… I may have to venture into the depths of Sq Hill to find this mystery concoction.

I had real sugar coke when I was in Jamaica out of a glass bottle, and it was fantastic.

werd. I came in here to write that very thing. I’m pretty sure that Coke is made with sucrose and not HFCS pretty much everywhere but America.

Personally, i think the shit should be banned. Soda is the reason America is so fucking fat. I stopped drinking it and with no change in diet or exercise, dropped over 50lbs.

Kosher Coke FTW

And still fat Cpt. America…now on to transfats :kekegay:

It’s because of our incredulous corn subsidies for the plight of the industrial farmer that has 15,000 acres and nets $2 million/yr household income.

You’re also forgetting the inflated price of sugar due to tariffs.

Another example of the government helping out big business while fucking the populace.

Coke and Mountain Dew are typically Kosher but not for Passover. When Passover comes, some of the food and beverages that are typically kosher, now are not. The only way to tell is if they have " OK for Passover " somewhere on the product. There is a lot of food that people eat everyday that is kosher. Next time you go and by food, if there is a http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:AfomiZflWz_qqM:http://z.about.com/d/kosherfood/1/0/8/-/-/-/symbol_ou.gif or an http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:4tkqjbR-YigfAM:http://www.mazornet.com/jewishcl/Kosher/Ok.gif symbol, then the food you are buying is kosher. Here is link that I use to double check items that I am not a 100% sure on. Kosher food link The only reason I know anything about kosher food is because my wife’s parents keep kosher.

america is fat because of technology. people dont have to work hard, people dont go outside to exercize. think about it…people used to walk to the market everyday to get food for diner… mom and pop stores are dead so you gotta drive to the supermarket. people are eating a lot less fresh food, etc… its not pop or mcdonalds…they are only a small piece of the pie.
