The XPC would just need a hard drive and a cd/dvd to install the OS. You could probably use the ones from your current system.
To use the dual core cpu and motherboard you’d need drives as above along with a case and power supply.
If you don’t care about a having a cd/dvd I can install Ubuntu on a spare drive and slap it in for an extra $20. Drive won’t be new, fast, or large, though.
how much ram will the dual core take? id just like to run something 64bit be it vista or win7. this ones from like 01 and i cant put more than a gig of ram in it, not that i use it for much, but i get warnings about low memory a bit so id like something a little better…lol… i mean ill use my case and stuff, i dont care what it looks like if its functional…
It’s apparently maxed out with the 2GB I’m including with it.
My understanding of Vista/7 is that they’re very graphics-intensive, the Radeon 5750 might be a good addition. If you want to both the cpu/mobo and the video card we can work out a deal.
