People With Money In the Market

Obama for America. It will help them for eight years, instead of just a little bit.

hookers and blow party!

blow it all on hookers and blow.

Joe, what did you buy in at? What day was it?

The results in this thread make me regret investing everything privately. Even though that private investment is amazing, my lackadaisical approach to investing lately really bit me in the ass as I missed all the apparently amazing money trains.

Spending it on hookers and blow would be a fine example of trickle down economics although not a totally legal example.:biglaugh:

Wow. Freddy and Fannie just hiccupped. They’re back over $2 but they were down to $1.40. What was that?

looks like more of an error… idk

it was this:

just a quick bump and adjustment.

That was a $15,000 hiccup for me. I was at the dentist and missed the whole thing. Drew wasnt so lucky, he was texting me frantically…poor guy

Anyone who wanted to get in and it was too high, that was your chance.

Yea I made a bad call but didnt want to risk earnings. Walked out of the deal making 4k in a week still but yea i fucked myself hard. I typically only move large amounts of money into the market for short periods of time and get out ahead. I was getting greedy and am out again. Oh well not as nice as 10k but its a weight off lol.

I’m assuming your talking options and lost a chance for profit on some contracts?

That will pay for a flight home this weekend and beer. I expect to see you friday by noon, I will assemble the team.

Its funny I had actually tried to take off of work to fly home next month but it got shot down. :frowning:

No, I’m holding 5000 shares each of FNM and FRE. They each went down over a buck and then semi came back. Shitting again right now.

whats a 7 grand loss on that day. :ohnoes:

why would you pick doing this over options… if you’re going to play this game it makes more sense to own the rights to buy the shares instead of the actual shares given the risk.

serious question, I’m curious why you did this?

edit: thinking you thought you got the rock bottom on this stock and couldn’t lose?

I bought 5000 shares of each, FNM at .44 and FRE at .31. Total cost was between 3500 and 4k. There were no options on these with a respectable strike price. They were down, but the federal government would not allow them to bow out, so I know they only had one direction they could go in. As it stands, I’m up around 15k on the whole deal. I was up around 25.

now that you put it in perspective, not the worst logic

guys shoulda got out yesterday… pre-market is less than 1.50 on fnm and fre and dropping
