Dang. Praxair stock is down to $50. I may put the rest of the cash in my scottrade account into that today and hold it until our 3Q earning announcement Wednesday. A good announcement in the midst of all this fear oughta give it a nice bump, no?

problem is that with a sharp economic downturn, there will be less demand for the product and future profits probably look bleak. But there may be more demand for those frozen beef patties on the dollar menu. With that said, praxair looks attractive at $50 for a long term stock.
