i think i gotta vote homer on this, although peter is like a newer funnier homer, there woulndt be a peter without homer
i think peter just cuz how raw and downright wrong family guy can be. the simpsons havent quite pushed that edge.
Homer is a classic that will never die, however in these times where the bar is being considerably raised it is too hard for one person to stay on top for too long, I look at it like this in the realm of shock comedy cartoons it is like a relay race, you have homer the originator then the torch is passed to Peter…soon it will be passed to the likes of Robot Chicken and Squid Billies

This is probably not a valid arguement since Homer is Peter’s precursor. It’s like trying to see who is the better quarterback, Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw… (DO NOT START THAT DISCUSSION!!)
i dont know, i think homer is funnier than peter, but the show family guy itself is funnier than the simpsons because of stewy and brian.

homer definetly, the family guy as a show blows, especially peter griffin. i swear that show can be only be understood and looked upon as comedy by complete idiots.
