Picked up my 240 Finally!

Hey guys, just thought I would post some pics of my new car. I sold my black zenki(sig pic) back in august and have been searching for a replacement ever since. Finally picked it up this weekend from South Carolina. And on to the pics (which don’t even begin to do justice to how clean this thing really is). '97 Silver Moss LE, no rust ANYWHERE! Notice the strut towers and engine bay are totally rust free. Only two previous owners and a complete maintenance history for everything done.

Damn thats sexy. Mind if I ask how much you paid for it down in the US of A?

Very Sharp ride. :E

I agree - not wild about the color but it’s very nice otherwise!

i love your car!!! that has always been my favorite style!!!

That’s what I thought at first too, but once you see the color in person it is way nicer. It looks way more gold in the pics than it really is. At night it is almost silver, and during the day it changes from every angle and every body line.

As for price, the car itself was about $8000 cdn, then $1300cdn in duty, border fees, and various other things to legalize it. Plus I also drove it from South Carolina to Ontario and am having it shipped to Calgary on the train so that is about $900. So all said and done, sitting at my door fully legalized to be in canada it is right around $10000. For a rust free Kouki in that kind of shape I thought that was alright

That is a good deal. I’ve seen koukis in that colour before in person and I love it.

I have never ever seen a silver moss done with wheels, lowered or a kit or anything either so that was part of the reason. I wanted something unique.

Nice ride my friend, rare find on the silver moss. :partyman:

Thanks, maybe I’ll actually make it to a meet this year! Any plans on another Red Deer meet???

Yup there will be another Red Deer meet this year and we will cruise for sure.

Hmm…maybe I’ll change my opinion on it when I see it in person. Really nice shape though, I like the interior a lot!

very nice, i always thought it would be more then $2000 or so to get it up here and legalized but now your making me think about looking for cars in the states

Im in love with that car!

Very Clean, Great find!

I love it! :o

It was insanely easy as well, if you or anyone else ever decide to do it let me know and I can help you out with all the paper work and what you need to do. Between US Customs and the Canadian Customs vehicle inspection I was in and out in 30 mins because I had everything prepared and ready when I got there!

Nice ride. SSounds like you have some plans for it in the future.

Always, as nice as they are it is still a stock car and we can’t have that now, right?
