i like skinnies and drag radials on street/strip cars.
But for all out street cars i agree should have a radial tire with some nice 17s or 18s 
I personally will be rocking skinnies one day in the future cuz i go fast straight, not in the turns

Same here…I pop the front wheels off with my stock rims on.
