Originally the argument was would it take off or would the wheels match the speed of the mill.
Next, people started saying the wheels couldn’t rotate that fast, the wheels had friction therefore they were not technically free moving, and people weren’t sure if the plane was moving relative to the ground or just relative to the mill. It got really sidetracked.
