I am not a huge fan of the show but this season I have a special interest in one of the shows. My cousin works for one of the premier LS1 tuners/builders in the country. Jeff Creech at C.A.M. A few of us have gone and personally seen the type of work they put out and watched them dyno tune.

From what I hear, they will be episode 4 this season. It is a GM v-8 against a Honda Civic. Not trying to start an Import vs. Domestic argument, I get that enough from his southern personality :slight_smile:

I just thought its cool that someone is going to be involved in the show. I am pretty sure he gets some TV time as the GM breaks and he is the wrencher :tup:

Id love to throw alittle 3rd gen together for that show, most of the time its lost by the driver or the negotiator, not the car.

BTW - This show is completely fake, on another forum I’m on, someone was @ one of the tapings and everything is staged.

Not true at all…the show is 100% real as far as my cousin tells me…he said…its some high pressure drama if something breaks…but I dunno…I know the guys my cousin works with that were on the show with him…and they are certainly not acting in the preview, i guess we will see what happens when it airs.

I do know that in my cousins episode they signed a contract saying that whoever loses the car can buy it back for X amt. of $ after the show. But I cant speak for the entire series.

Yeah…but I think those situations are agreements between the parties involved and not well recieved from the show atleast according to my cousin who said the show had no knowledge of the agreement before taping.
