it seems to me that both of those cars showed up very ill-prepared to race. both of them had problems right from the get go. and also, u have to be an absolute moron to race some1 for the title to your car. come on now…

According to Carolina Auto Masters after Jeff won the car, they were able to get 520 whp out of the civic with alittle tuning, the kid just couldnt drive. Not that it would have been enough to beat the TA anyway, but…
When the TA isnt detuned:
actually i dont think they have any idea at first who they will run. its not like last season where it was call outs. this season they are taking all the cars and putting them into pools. low 12 sec cars, high 13’s… bla bla bla they get paired up by someone at the studio. so anyone can take a low 10 sec car “detune” it a little and call it a 12 sec car. kinda lame, it lets people be too sneaky.

honestly, if my car was on the line and they wanted me to detune my car i would tell them to fuck off. Seriously, he built it fast to compete fast. Not to detune and risk losing his transam because the show needed him to run mid 10’s. this episode was kinda bullshit and i think that there was a total missmatch. Atleast put a drag civic vs the drag transam.lol there are plenty of 9sec civics out there that are probably willing but PINKS goes out and finds some 20 year old kid that claims he has 600whp and has NEVER BEEN TO THE TRACK BEFORE. what a fucking joke.
