Pittsburgh Gas tank Explosion?

Ok I’m there. I see the legend in the bottom left corner but it does not do anything. I can zoom in and out and change the legend but thats it.

I agree that this history is very interesting.

Maybe the damage 20 miles away was a few broken windows from some shapnel that left the scene at the speed of a bullet, or maybe falling ash/soot caused some cosmetic damage. I’m sure it’s a real statistic, just that the nature of the damage is very nebulous. Certainly the blast didn’t crack foundations of buildings 20 miles away.

FYI, 10 million cubic feet of gas is an absolute FUCKLOAD of natural gas. The gas explosions that blow residential houses apart are probably 100 or 200 cubic feet of gas, at the most.
