I’m not into much new rap. Really liked old L.L., all of Sir Mix-a-lot’s stuff (commercially a one-hit wonder, but he’s awesome), old Tupac (Especially Stricty for…), Eazy E, N.W.A. (Straight outta Compton mostly), Public Enemy was great, Ice-T (Up until VI, return of the real, that album blows), The D.O.C. (No one can do it better…You know what? He was right. That whole album was fantastic.)…
There something unexplainable about new rap that just sucks to me. I was listening to Sirius at home yesterday and that song “Scenario” from A Tribe Called Quest came on. Man, that’s the good shit right there…
