Vintage Car Enthusiasts as well as Classic, Hot Rod and Motorsports fans of all kind will want to mark their calendars for Saturday, December 10 as the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Store gets you ready for holiday gift giving.

Join store manager Jim Pirone as he welcomes fans of the PVGP to the new Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Store, located at 135 East Main Street, Carnegie, PA.

During the day on Saturday, December 10, 2005 you can take advantage of a 10 percent discount on everything in the store. The official retail outlet of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix features the full line of PVGP-certified gear including T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, mugs, posters, and other racing memorabilia. Motorsports fans can buy both current and past PVGP merchandise, dating all the way back to the inaugural year of 1983. The PVGP Store also carries a wide selection of die cast cars from 1/87 scale all the way up to 1/12. The store is open year-round, providing more opportunities for the Grand Prix to sell merchandise, raise funds for their charities and gain more exposure to their event.

Along with the great savings on the vast selection of PVGP merchandise, you will have a chance to meet Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, Dan DelBianco. Also on hand will be Mike Maskarinec, creator of the artwork depicted in the PVGP Store as well as the official calendar of the Grand Prix.

Jim Pirone has also arranged a visit by Santa Claus, who will be giving a Hot Wheels die cast toy car to the first 100 kids to come to the store. Jim Zufall of the Wexford Starlite Car Cruise will also be on hand to broadcast his regular “Cruisemeister” feature on News Talk 1020 KDKA’s “Car Radio” program, heard every Saturday from 1-3 PM.
