well spanish was fucking easy, so was webpage design which is where im out right now. im supposed to be doing the second part of my final which is making some table and printing it out. but i dont feel like it :kekegay:

if you don’t take so many yrs. of a lang in H.S. then you have to take a lang in college
thats how most major Univ. work.
either that or you have to take a lang placement test.

right now here @ pitt i think you need 3yrs to be exempt & not have to take it in college but they are thinking of changing that to 4…so yeah its is getting tougher
That does suck… my school only offered French and Spanish. If you wanted to take anything else it was via internet teachers and you had to be in the GATE program…
Needless to say that was NEVER me.
i took 5 years of german, and want to take more, but stupid ass rmu doesn’t offer it. Doesn’t matter i’m not going back next semester i’m florida bound.
lots of med school applicants take latin, it helps with anatomy and general medical terms. But yeah Latin sucks.
see if you can cross register at pitt or any neighboring colleges. i know we let our students take classes in other colleges if we dont offer it.
this is my job. i exempt people from the foreign language req @ pitt. i think its gonna change to 4 yrs to be exempt. but not right now all you need is 3 in HS. we’re doing a research study on how much HS students learn foreign languages in HS by making anyone that took spanish, german , or french in HS take a placemant exam. Most of them that take 3 yrs only place into spanish 1.
