Playboy motor car corp

Has anyone ever heard of them before? Built cars in…BUFFALO between 1946-1949

Anyone have any info?

:snky:

Let me guess you watched American Pickers last night?

Edit here was the location I found. Not sure if it is the same building:

^^yeah I seen that last night too… that guy had some cool stuff.

Hrm. I knew about Pierce Arrow, never heard of this one though.

Let me save you the trouble of going to google:

fixed that for you

I am sorry… but ewww… those cars look terrible from a time that almost all cars were pieces of art.

haha, watched that last night too and was wondering about it.

I’ve heard of them. Once it awhile you’ll see one show up at a car show or cruise night, but they’re pretty rare.

Same here, never heard anyone talk about it either.

Semi-Related Note*

Why dont they tell you on that pickers show what the items REALLY sold for, not just the “estimated value”. It would be better that way.

They do have “sold for” sometimes but my guess is they did not sell it in time for the show.

Granted they don’t appear to have much space for inventory, so I wonder how many days the average item stays in their inventory.

agreed^ and I was also thinking about possible refurbishing costs associated involved also to bring something up to its premium value.

Like on “Pawn Stars” they show some of the items being refurbished (very nicely I might add too) and the cost to get it there.
