Does anyone ever go to the pocketeers cruise in on sunday nights? I drive by and see abunch of cars there and was wondering if it is any one from on here. A lot of imports.

I’ve heard about it. It was a bit to close to kaiser town for my taste so I blew it off.

If you’re into underbody neons and lambo doors, Pocketeers is the place to be.
i get messages from them on facebook like 5-6 times a week to go to that. ive thought about it but i worry that theres too much body kits and neons and not enough motor…which would be quite a bummer. so i havent gone yet.
Its a good place to have some fun and see something different compare to all the other Cruises… I know this is NY Speed and alot of people on here are about the motors but we made this cruise so we can see all kinds of cars, from Motors to Classics. We love all kinds of cars and never put down any of the great cars on here either. We have a mix of all kinds of cars every week. Its just a small cruise to relax, listen to some music and even go inside and play some pool or some arcade games. And its FREE.

was cruising around last night n seen them all parked up so i stopped there for about 20 seconds last night n left. too much rice for me.

Thanks for stopping by tho. Its not for everyone but sometimes you have to go to a show or a cruise with a open mind and just enjoy all the different types of cars.
EliteCreationsCC- I have much respect for you, seriously. People on here are quick to flame others for things being different from what they are used to on here or against the “ricer” scene but even though they flamed your scene, you still hold a positive attitude, Thumbs up to you.
I stopped by yesterday and walked around, Im not into the modded look scene but to each its own and I gave you credit for having a show thats free, and gives out trophies etc.
For the people that are more into go over show, why not show up, have some fun and meet new people? Seeing the same people over and over again gets so boring. I mean we are all car people, why not enjoy it no matter what the “scene” is. No matter what anyone says, there will always be a little Fast and Furious in all of us and I enjoyed seeing cars that I dont see every day. Just my .02

Great point AndyB… Some people like the motor thing and will stick by it no matter what. Some like the show look and thats fine as well. Its a cruise night for ALL kinds of cars… Some people say… well their’s not enough motor there for me… WELL… bring your car over and let everyone see your motor. Why do you have to go there to see other peoples motors… Why cant they see yours… Just my 2 cents lol
Our club respects everyone on here and what they think no matter what. We have some racers in the club that can put up some good number on the track as well! yup yup!!

If you don’t have a Euro car on here that’s modded in a really ugly way, a way that couldn’t possibly be aesthetically pleasing to anyone with style, but you did it just so that it looks “dope” and because you know the status quo will hate it, you get flamed on here. Oh yeah and chances are your rich parents probably bought it for you. And no I’m not talking about Newman, I know he hears that a lot.
The fact that you’re so positive makes me respect you guys a lot too. I stopped by one of your cruise nights last year and it had a cool, really relaxed vibe. I hope it works out for you guys. MY $.02.

sidenote: last time i went to pocketeers was ~ 5 years ago with my angry friend from Ithaca, we were there 5 mins and some getto fab white kid started with him and Vanilla Ice almost went through the front window. Is it still like that?
sidenote 2 : are you the guys that hang arount Mr tint on Transit? I always give a hello rev and they just stare at me like i am from mars. 
Sidenote 1 Answer: we have been running this cruise for about a year and we have had no problems with anyone in the area… not sure if its the same like 5 years ago lol. i mean this is west seneca/cheektowaga not the east or west side of buffalo! lol
Sidenote 2 Answer: no we are not from that mr tint shop. We are from all over WNY ,but not from mr tints. no affliction whats so ever.
I’m not going to single anyone out it’s just something that I’ve noticed about the overall culture of this site. And last night when I posted that I was still a little ticked about all the hate the goofy ass pic thread that schwidley posted got. It was never meant to be taken seriously but it got a lot of hate from people who do all kinds of UGLY and RIDICULOUS shit to their cars that I never mention because I try to act like a decent human being. Even though it’s da internetz.
The only thing that I can think of that explains all the bad taste is that there’s some kind of anti-status quo attitude. Something is “dope” if it’s totally out of left field and the mainstream is gonna despise it. “Dude, those fuchsia wheels on your VW/Mercedes/BMW are dope, any tree-hugger/doctor/lawyer with the same car who sees you is gonna hate it!” That’s all I can figure. I can’t think of any other reason why people would do some of the obnoxious shit that shows up on this forum.
