Pontiac had many 1sts…I actually have a link to PMD’s engineering firsts in my home PC if you really need it, but this details Pontiac’s earlier years in racing…

thats not a list of pontiac firsts either, its a historical timeline of stuff they did, not things they did before anyone else.
It’s not even worth my time to look for Pontiac ‘firsts’. You sir are a fuckwad.
on star (guide star), HUD, the first mass produced car, first modern fwd, first air bag, first turbocharged engine. the first auto assembly line ( often credited to henry ford) … :finger2:

cutty… where are you getting all of this misinformation? i guess you meant the first autotranny with a converter? the first heads up display was GM… right? SAE Technical Paper No. 890228… I guess you meant the first mass produced car in the United States… the 78 dodge omni tranny??? that was made in 1975 by Volkswagen? and first gasoline turbocharged engine mass produced … the first conveyor driven assembly line was Ford, which is still used today… oh and onstar: “OnStar delivered its first product and service to the market in 11 months, in the fall of 1996 for model year 1997 Cadillac DeVille, Seville and Eldorado models” … the airbag idea was invented and pitched to chrysler… but first mass produced by ford in 1970

First mass produced car- model t
On-star, goes to caddy-In 1996, then GM North America Operations President Rick Wagoner officially launched OnStar at the Chicago Auto Show. OnStar delivered its first product and service to the market in 11 months, in the fall of 1996 for model year 1997 Cadillac DeVille, Seville and Eldorado models. For a short time, OnStar service was available on vehicles produced by Acura, Audi, Subaru, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen through a licensing agreement.
first front wheel drive ever-
Prior to 1900
According to various sources, sometime between 1895 and 1898 Gräf & Stift built a voiturette with a one-cylinder De Dion-Bouton engine fitted in the front of the vehicle, powering the front axle. It was thus arguably the world’s first front-wheel drive automobile, but it never saw mass production, with only one copy ever made.
First Modern- the mini 1959, because of its traverse engine arrangement still used today.
Airbag- a joint project by gm but was in a chevy car first, Ford built an experimental fleet of cars with airbags in 1971, followed by General Motors in 1973 on Chevrolet vehicles. In 1974, GM made dual-stage twin front airbags optional in full-size Buick, Cadillac and Oldsmobile models and called them the “Air Cushion Restraint System”. The early fleet of experimental GM vehicles equipped with airbags experienced seven fatalities, one of which was later suspected to have been caused by the airbag.[citations needed]
