Im noticing a trend here…lots of rookies…allow me to elaborate. I see plenty of guns but what about the ammo? So far ive only seen one guy with a decent amount of ammo. Come on boys you know the saying… " An amateur has plenty of guns, but the professional has a few guns and plenty of ammo" ;).
There was a dude on here with a drum mag for his AR. I have a question about that…any feed issues with that thing? Ive heard nothing good about those, even from some ex military guys.

that would be me iv bump fired about 7 or 8 rounds from it wihtout problem. and will be borrow a slide fire stock to dump the 100 rounds, i picked up 7 of them and everyone i sold them to has not had a problem. the ones form the Beta company seem to be the only legit ones. and thats only the 5.56 ammo. have about another 1000 .223 55gr. and about 500 slugs and 100 oo bird. then 880 rounds for the mosin

I have seen many of these mags puke out in matches. In a free state I would take a pmag with a nordic extension if I wanted more capacity.
Oh and if you put a “bump fire” stock on a post ban gun it is a felony in NY due to our left over AWB. If it is on a preban you are fine but just pissing money away on both the junk stock and the wasted ammo. Also remember no WSAR is pre-ban no matter what year is on the SN.
not true. a slide fire is still NYS legal. im not going to argue about what is and isnt legal as the laws about black rifles are so messed up. also the stock was not mine. only own the beta c mag is bc its NIB and i plan on dumping it soon to almost triple my investment.
No it is not. It falls under a telescoping stock, and the fact that it is “easily converted to a full telescoping stock”. And the action of the stock while under use it telescopes in and out.
This only effects post ban guns though. As pre-bans can have that evil feature.

thats the grey area. Telescoping stock. Magpul has stocks out that the butt plate moves with the twist of a dial. so would that be concitered the same thing? if so anything the adjusts the length of pull should be illegal. but its not. the slide fire is also sold and shipped in nys all the time. its a big GREY AREA. there has not been one released article about it being illegal from the AWB. yes alot of people say dont use it… alot say go ahead. just like the required way to pin a comp to the barrel. so much to interpret. lets just agree to disagree
