I just have this. It’s a mosin nagant m38 carbine. But at 880 rounds for under $200, that’s a lot of dead zombies.

Oh and I have a 91/30 gun that I’m ricing the fuck out. 14" barrel with 2" muzzle brake, turned down handle. I’m not sure If I want to cut the stock and leave it or attach a side folding and pistol grip.

What do you guys use to clean the barrel after firing the surplus rounds? I’ve seen a lot of conflicting info

+1. Then clean as you normally would. I use this on my Mausers and M91 variants. Hot water also works well. I have this rigged up for my 8mm rifles -
still need to make one for 7.62X54. If you shoot a lot, this is easy and less messy.
Installed night sights on my carry rig today. I still need to put them on my 226, but i’m lazy. Probably going to send some stuff to the nickel boron coater soon as well.
Also, plan to pick up a new AR lower tomorrow morning. On to the next build, any suggestions?

EDIT. I guess you’re recommending me build one in a pistol caliber. Maybe one day, when the tax stamp goes through. I’m thinking maybe a longer distance ar. Kinda like the one that was built on here before
