One of my friends who has a eclipse gs with manual doors attempted to have power locks installed at a local shop. However, the shop she took it too screwed up and only installed it on one side of her car. How much would it cost to install it on the other side? Anyone on the board that can do it properly for some $? Let me know, thanks in advance…
if u go to darryls car audio or any place like that, they charge 50 dollars per door
so 100 can get u both sides W/ Keyless entry
if its really 50/door WITH the parts, thats not a bad price at all

yep 50 per door cause i asked when i had the teg there and, ahem, kustom works they said the same…it was 100 for alarm and 50 per door for locks cause iw as gonna do everything for 200
funny how they charge extra for hooking up somthing as easy as parking lights on an alarm, but they’ll add powerlocks to a car so cheap. i don’t understand where they get some of their prices from lol

(btw: oh and this was for no buttons or anything…so my door would look no different u can only use the power locks with the keyless entry fob thing)
yea, what u do is put a solenoid in the door, that pushes/pulls on the lock.
