ppl with old military arms

Well, my dad recently bought a 1942 Mosin-Nagant, and I borrowed an old M1 Garand from my great uncle. Does anybody want to get together and have a shooting meet sometime? I love old military firearms, and I know a lot of you guys have some nice ones. Shooting competition/ blowing shit up from really far away ftw.

Still waiting to go shooting with my fiancee’s dad. He’s got a couple M1s and a Springfield. I think he may have a few WWII sidearms as well. I have a 1854 Austrian Lorenz rifle which probably doesn’t fire anymore.

nice man. I love the old military guns. sooo accurate and well built

:stuck_out_tongue: had to be done.
i dont have anything now but my pistol permit is in the works…took the class waiting to hear back

you name it, i probably own it lol

i need to stock up on ammo

That’s all I really have is guns i’ve used in my service … aside from the M1 garand … I’m up for shooting at any range/ land with range setup provided no one is an asshat … I’ll leave on the spot. Seeing as how I’m friends with the majority of shooters on the forum I don’t see that happening

you have a Garand? any more info on it? <3 me some M1’s

Build date of march of 1943 … it’s a CMP rebuild that is in pretty much brand new condition. This think is immaculate. I’m going out today to get 400 rounds in clips on bandoleers for 310 today.

I have a sporterized mosin that I’m actually looking to get rid of (make an offer), and I also have an old british enfield .303 that I LOVE. I’ve only taken it to a range twice, and new ammo is expensive. But I’d be in.

Nice, my M-1 is an SA product of '43 as well. Also picked up a nice Remington 1903A3 from the CMP, cant beat their prices for what you get.

What is your enfield? I am looking for an SMLE mkIII of WWI vintage

The prices I’ve paid for everything have been STEALS. The M1 I got for 600… the M1a for 1k … as they’ve come up for sale I’ve had the cash on hand to pick them up that cheap. I’ve been lucky so far.

I really want to take a trip to the CMP store at camp perry and pick up another M1 and pick it out in person. I got my M1 years ago(2000 or 2001 i want to say?) through my Grandfather filling out the paperwork. ETO vet from WWII, at the time it came to $350 (i think it was something they had going for WWII vets?, regardless it was a hell of a deal). I think i paid $400 for the '03 rifle. Rem 03a3’s are going for a grand or so nowadays. Mine is in great condition, considering what i paid:

Anyone who is into shooting or military arms, get a nice Garand from CMP while they are still being offered, you will never find a better deal. I dont think they have 1903 or 1903A3’s anymore.

lets set somethin up guys. There is a public rifle range about 10 mins from Akron. good backstops and whatnot. Its where I usualy go.

Its usually full of faggots. I am amazed nobody has been shot there yet. The level of stupidity I have seen there is incredible.

Last time I was there, my buddy yelled he was going downrange to the wiggers next to us with siqqq AKs dawg, they acknowledged, and when he was at the berm, they emptied two magazines. I almost shot all of them.

im shopping for a new rifle now lol I want to shoot some clays!

This rifle itself isn’t old but the AK is up there in age as well. And i just finished the build on it. This is my 50-200 yard zombie killer.
