I stopped in over at Synapse and spoke with someone and he didnt seem to interested so I figured I would reach out to the guys at Moon. I am bigtime into customer service… The Moon guys were all over it and jumped right on board… I would rather take the ride and deal with people who are into it…
Im hoping for some nice gains. Thanks and I will post up sheets and #'s…
I wanted to participate in the Dyno day at Moon and I feel the only real way to compare #'s is to do it at the same place… Just to take out the speculation of “that dyno may read different” or all the other excuses out there… I was thinking to go to the same place and there is no excuse!! I want the F1 tuning to take off and really do great BUT I need proof!!
i agree for your purposes it doesnt matter if the dyno reads high or low just that its consistant and you can get back to back repeatable results to show the improvement areas.
Thank you. Regardless if its high or low it will be consistant and the gains or lack of gains will be obvious… I have some $$ wrapped up in this experiment so obviously I hope it works out for the best.
Dont get me wrong, I dont mean any disrespect… Like I said I wanted to participate in the Dyno day on the 23rd and I wanted to get both before and after runs done on the same dyno at the same place… we have done over $10,000 worth of business with Moon in the last year and he is really taking care of us with this one so I couldnt turn it down. They seem like super nice people as well.
Well I understand, just curious how you got the uninterested vibe. If Moon has been good for you guys then i’m glad to hear. Just know that we are more than happy to work with you at any time.
I just felt like I was a burden when I just stopped in… No one was rude to me or anything like that I just didnt get a warm and fuzzy about it… I also didnt realize you had that kind of dyno and im not crazy about it… nothing personal…
this is a company car that is for sale… It will be my “demo” car to take out to shows, outings and events until it sells… Once it sells I will build something else…

Very cool, I hope you keep posting your various projects. Germans aren’t my brands of choice, but it’s nice to see an area business doing something like this.

Thank you, we are going to keep it up… I will keep the projects updated with pictures.
We are an F1 tuning dealer and we have done many cars including BMW’s with a great deal of success. We have tuned regular cars in addition to $100,000+ cars with no issues…
What makes you a dealer? You take the money and send in the ECU for the people? I guess I would be worried about a “tune” that came in the mail being used on a turbocharged vehicle…
Why have I never heard of these F1 tuning guys? and why is it that the only information I can find about them is their own website? if these guys were good enough to tune ‘anything’ and tune ‘$100k+’ of ‘anything’ then why is there literally no information about them ANYWHERE?!
I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m genuinely interested :rofl
