Ok, this post is for the motor. Again, another shot in the dark, but here we go… The motor is an S13 Redtop SR20DET. Before I list it all off, I will NOT be parting this out unless I have someone interested in EVERY last piece. I don’t want to be stuck with parts I can’t sell. Thank you. Everything will be sold together for $12,200 UNLESS I can get a buyer on every last part. Don’t forget, EVERY SINGLE PART IS BRAND NEW NEVER USED OR BEEN LUBED OR RUN!
The good/parts:
-Power Enterprises Twin Plate Clutch kit - $1,699
-4 CP pistons. 9.0:1 compression and 86.5mm (0.020" oversized) - $936.25
-ARP Main stud kit - $144
-Crower steel billet connecting rods - $1439.15
-Unorthodox racing crank pulley - $240
-GT35R 82 Trim Turbocharger - $1770.84
-Greddy Intake manifold - $642
-Ferrea 1mm oversized exhaust valves, intake valves, springs, retianers, and locators - $1460.12
-All OEM timing guides, tensioner, chain, and bolts - $327.90
-Timing chain oil jet - $6.05
-Cylinder bore using torque plate, tank clean, new frost plugs, and measuremant of block - $244.97
-Cometic headgasket, 272 step 2 intake and exhaust camshafts, HKS rocker arm stoppers, JWT cam gears adjustable, valve guides, and ARP head studs - $1320
-Crankshaft polish, full motor balanced, and all Clevite bearings - $554.23
-SR20 motor was $1500
-I still have stock SR20 parts as well
The bad:
-Some things I haven’t had done yet…
-Haven’t got a new manifold for the big turbo
-the cylinder head hasn’t been machined to fit the 1mm over valves and no work such as cleaning, replacement of the valve guides, new valve seats, hasn’t been done yet
-I also have a BRAND new 300ZX transmission for the SR20 as well. It’s a conversion that SR20 owners can do to handle the power as the SR20 trannys are weak around the upper 300hp mark. The bad news is, you need an adapter kit for it in the states, here is a link explaining it. It’s a very reputable shop and I got all the info from a reputable website “www.freshalloy.com”.
