Project "Why the fuck did I buy another DSM?"

Can’t complain, though. Aside from the torque and the sound, I like this better in every way over the LS1 Miata.

But, here’s what I’ve been tinkering with recently. Daily driver, by the way.

I have a ForcedPerformance 3065 sitting at the house waiting to go on, and the remainder of the stuff (v-band clamps, etc) have been ordered. Hoping to get it on this week, tuned, and ready for the next TNT

Also, the bumper still needs trimmed better - it’s not done, I just haven’t had time to sit and trim it perfect.

do you still have the miata?

No, sold it.

that sucks. nice eclipse though

Very clean dsm for sure, good luck with the project Jesse

Looks pretty nice … Good luck

Nice. Looks like it has a lil bit of everything. Nice brakes, motor, decent miles etc. Good find!

Always my favorite body style of the mitsu’s. Not a huge fan of the color - but I drive an orange car so what can I say …ha!

Car looks good!

Haha, I know the feeling. Not my favorite color either, but I weigh other considerations over the color of the car as well, so I don’t blame you.

Those wheels are really easy to paint with the lip a different color/polished, I guess the PO chose not to do that, and they look good the way they are done.

Have fun man, looks like a clean car and those GSX wheels in my opinion are the best looking stock wheels ever offered on a DSM.

Nice! Looks good. decent mods too.

Just wanted to clarify a few things -

car really isn’t a project. Unless something explodes, I’m not touching anything else. I’m too old for this :bigok:

I like the color, actually. I decided I wanted this, black, or white. This was the color I found (Wash, DC area.) DSM was bought because everything else I was looking at was 15k+ and I didn’t want payments.

I painted the wheels. PO painted them black, and they were chipped really badly. Long story short, my paint job was just a very quick spray, I didn’t put much effort into it due to time, but I might end up painting them “right” later.

Hoping to click off at least 120mph traps on pump.

Car still has PS, and ice cold AC :eek4: It took some finesse to get it to quit overheating with the FMIC on, but I got it set up really nice.

Me like. Good find Jess.

baller dsm, remember you still owe me a ride before you sell it, so ill make sure im around within the next month waiting for the call.

Good, any chance you’ll be taking this d.d. to prp?

ehhh…not bad jesse

Hoping to go this weekend. Waiting for a v-band clamp/outlet flange to weld up for a downpipe to get the 3065 on.

cool…good luck buddy…but i still think the miata> this

cough never will be at tnt cough! I dont know what to say you already know I like the car and its ecu ground circuit

(give me your 3065)

x2!!!

so far the beemer is faster than the gsx lol jk
