so, what times are you planning NA? bottle?
n/a i dunno. i’m not a stellar driver so i’ll hope for 11.5-11.7. bottle i just wanna see a 10. since i can only do it once.
EDIT: thanks for the vid spec!
(you’re only going to spray it once?) a ya right…
the second jeremy gets here its over…
so i felt bad that pat broke… so i went and broke something too! so now we can be broken together! yay
what’d you break?
went to lancaster today, thought oh what the hell! lets bend the input shaft!
Oh and  to Lancaster raising admission to $20 on Tuesdays.
i mean at the track fool.
yea seriously, im sorry jim just overall a shitty race day between me blowing my intercooler piping off to you breaking your car. oh well
wtf is with all the broken fbods already, I set the trend weeks ago when I smacked mine up
and yeah a big fuck you to Lancaster for charging $20 for the use of their shitty track, at least they could have gotten rid of the fucking kids dragsters and snowmobiles on Tuesdays
Ewww. Looks like I’ll never be going there again.
Sorry to hear about the breakage. If you want some help gimme a call.
Shitty track?
Maybe you should learn to drive
that stinks, did you get any good runs in?
i thought you just had a leak. what makes you think you bent the shaft?
Fuck, that sucks! J&J just built this motor right? I hope it’s ok, and it’s just a seal Normally I would think that happens from positive crankcase pressure.
maybe you should get a decent car to drive :repost:
he tried a new type of seal, which is probably all it is. no crankcase pressure issues. jay built the bottom end, just the way he did firehawk853’s and my own. we are all running great with no problems. easy fix
Ya that new style rear main seal can be tricky. It comes with a fit inner suppot tool installed, so you don’t need the Jtool or anything special. Just tap it in, and the inner support falls out once the installed presser changes releasing it. Than it has molded right into the seal “THIS SIDE OUT” so you only have a 50% change of getting it right.
lol. yeah shit happens. no biggie. if everyone could prevent every problem from happening we’d all own a business. I see brand new parts fail everyday. Wonder if me hitting 7,000 rpm had anything to do with it? :mamoru:
yay pats out…
Usually the only way you get a fluid leak at the front on the T56
Yeah thanks for the concern but I am pretty sure I have the LS engines down pat already. Didn’t push out the dipstick and no their isn’t a hold down spring on it
I wouldn’t call the redesign rear main seal tricky, I would call it idiot proof for the GM tech that is too lazy to go and get the correct Kent Moore tool from the parts room to install the older style seal or the DIY that doesn’t want to buy the correct tools. Thanks for the tip on the “THIS SIDE OUT”. I am pretty sure I have done this a time or two and didn’t miss that along with the little sheet of white paper in the package.
