It had the bed on it when I saw it Saturday. I’m sure the bed weighs more than 230 lbs.

just cleaning/painting abit, replacing the fuel pump, fuel pump harness, and swapping in a different muffler.

i saw it last saturday as well and i must say it was looking great!

sweet Brandon…

switching motor mounts this winter. i’ve been through 2 driver side mounts since i redid the engine 2 years ago. So i decided to switch to solid mounts. Its been a chore just to get access to them, so i figured i’d snap some pics as i go along.

the base’s for the solid mounts

I’ve removed the lower heat exchanger, as well as the exhaust manifolds, turbo, downpipe & exhaust, transfer case and transmission, driveshafts, & steering shaft. Hopefully i won’t have to remove the front differential.

more pics to come as this proceeds.

I have a couple little odds and ends for this winter, wheels & tires, hydroboost, and some brake & suspension upgrades.

beautiful!

on the lighter side there isn’t much more to remove!

if u drop the front pig,u can jack up the motor & get right to the mounts, its not that bad of a job!

lookin good

i’m gonna do it with a hoist. i dont have the skill to lift it by the pan.

Did you get the RPM mounts? those look alot beefier than the ones a I bought from him a few years ago…

wood+floorjack=motor up:D

not much to update. The motor mounts are in. I’ve hardly been working on it lately. I pickedup some stainless pipe, and a couple mufflers and a cutout, so i can finish the exhaust.

Changed up the serpentine system to give me a little bit of working clearance.

Couple months and it’ll be ready for the street again.

very nice
where did you get the pulleys from?

who helped with the motor mounts? lol

Childress (MightyMouse) made it. i flipped it around backward so the belt contacts the water pump more.

some kid with a Caddy

That is slick

Looks good, did you paint the exhaust housing on the turbo?
