I would imagine that 2000+ hp would cause tranny troubles :rolleyes:

yeah really 2000 Hp
even that special clutch for the supra that holds 1200 Tq couldnt handle that

Yeah mike, He’s something else I know the guy, Back in1993-1997 my uncle raced a pro street 65 vette we raced mike more times then i can recall! He’ll figure out the problem and he’ll have the car running good! He had trouble with his tranmissions to back in the day when pro street first came out to but lenco helped us and mike out with that problem! good luck mike:bowdown:

i’ve seen that, the intake manifold is inverted hedders right? the one guy who works on that, last name is meany, he has the 1300hp daily driver vette

I would say that your cousin is the one driving the vette now. Im pretty sure me and pewterss talk to him up at PRP during the NMCA weekend. He said that he is learning how to drive the car and it is only running in the 9s now. I think I saw it go a 7.90 at PRP a couple years back. Your cousin is also good friends with a guy named told who has a black 454SS with a lingerfelter built motor.

Its a 1965 pro street , it had a 632 sonny’s moutain motor with a 2 stage nos fogger system 150 hp shot, 250 hp shot, lenco tranny , strange rear end , the car ran 6.90’s in aug of 1996 at world street shootout in tenn. its been a garage collecting dust for about 3 years!!:crying: :crying: now my uncle is racing a 1930’s ford coupe chevy powered big block dual fogger system
