there is a wire harness attached to the ps hard line coming out of the ps pump…
is this plug needed?..
that is a power steering pressure sensor. when the steering wheel is at full lock it will sence high pressure. at high pressures the pump is working hard puting load on the engine. that sensor lets the ecu know that the engine is under that load. therefore the ecu will step up the idle to keep it from lossing rpm.
ohh ok,wut were to happen if its not connected…cuz i looked in my engine bay near the ps pump…and i dont think there is one there.
what year is your car. regardless should have one.
