on a S13/sr20
if you have a Megan DP and a S13 Cat Back 3"
what is the lengh of the cat that you need.
I want to grab a 3" flanged highflo cat that I can just bolt in.
I am assuming it is the same lengh as all them test pipes
go to partsource and buy a magnaflow 3" cat for $75. then go to zorro muffler and have them weld on flanges. should cost about $50. you need to cut about 1.5" off the cat then weld on flanges and it will fit. this should be cheaper than a bolt in cat
ive done that on my 240 before… magnaflow high flow was about $80 then i went to minute muffler and for $40 they welded on flanges and bolted it up… took them about 30 mins to do it…
nice nice, ya I will not be able to drive the car there for them too size up, so I was thinking of borrowing a test pipe from a friend and just tell them to make it the same lenght and match the position of the flanges.
i tried that, they said they need u to bring in the car so they can possition it 100% on ur car, that way it will fit no matter wut.
ya it is not a big deal, I know who I will get to seld it up, with having a test pipe is should not be a problem
