I have this MOBO
http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8N_Neo4-F&class=mb
It says that the ram is DDR 400 for it.
DDR 400 RAM is expensive for some reason, but I keep seeing deals for DDR2-667 ram for half the price. Can this RAM be used on my mother board?
DDR2 != DDR
If you need DDR 400, that’s what you get. www.crucial.com www.simpletech.com www.kingston.com

DDR 400 is your only option, the price is mostly likely due to the the phasing out of it. And apparently the difficulty to manufacture.

AT CC this week its 39.99 for 512 or $69 for 1GB.Kingston is the brand.
Yeah that’s pretty much what I thought but I was hoping.
And $70 for 1 GB isn’t bad. But I can get 2GB of DDR2 for $80. Maybe I will head to CC.
