18-55 Nikkor.
Probably would have come out better had it not been so cold or had I been better dressed for the weather. 
So much white snow on a cloudy day gave me a hard time getting the right exposure.

Ah, yeah, you could definitely use longer. I’d offer ya my 18-70, but it really isn’t a huge improvement. If you want to spend a couple bucks, I could be convinced to part with my 300mm.
I used that lens to take the picture I posted. The camera was in JPG - Small mode and I was standing in my nice warm living room. :lol:

WISH I HAD A TRIPOD ARGHH it was so cold too, like 30 degrees october dusk cold, so hard to get a non-shaky pic.

i miss the good 'ol days when we’d actually go on cruises rather than just talk about it…this pic was from probably the best year of cruises we ever had, or at least the best i ever had…several different backroad cruises on several different backroads…
definitely have to get some of this ish going again come spring/summer…

was pretty shady up there too, since there were no guard rails of any sort, the ground was all ice, and we were all drunk…luckily nobody slipped and fell…

This was my first try and I was amazed.
