HDR:

^ It’s funny how such a plain looking subject can look interesting with HDR.

^NOOOOOOOOODS?

Very cool. Seems too yellow though?

Thanks. I think the water is too green but that’s niagara falls for ya. I desaturated the greens but it makes the trees look funny… I’ll play with the blue/yellow balance a lil.

Well, I sent them to a couple friends and they’ve come back with “those are amazing” and “wow”.

BTW, I did mention they weren’t mine.

BluBalls - are using a preset curve for those HDR’s? I haven’t been messing around with it too much, but trying to play with the curve myself does not yield very good results so far lol.

I use Photomatix first importing the .nef files, so it doesn’t ask for a curve. Then once I do the adjustments there, I import it to Photoshop where I take care of the noise and sharpening and put the final touches on. If you use .jpg files, it will ask you to adjust the curve or if it’s being done in Photoshop. I’m not a huge fan of Photoshop’s HDR function, I can get simular results, but I have to use the tone mapping too much and it takes longer.

thats amazing. fix the color a bit and id like to buy a poster size of that.

Thanks!

Anyone else have a flickr acct? Feel free to add me if you do:
