Haha, I sent the freakin thing in with all the drain lines attached, and according to the expert, the fitting I had on the drain line was much too small, and was causing it to backup. Theres another issue I need to sort out as well. It is possible my fitting on the oil pan was too low, or not in the right position. Hopefully I will sort all that out this weekend. By spring time, everything should be on and mint, no more rushing or cheaping out, I have the time to do it properly, haha. :rolleyes:
On the stock block with my slicks, mid-summer goal is to hit a 13.0 or better.
I am also building a block on the side, with pistons and rods the stock sleeves can handle 350WHP, which (according to similar setups down south) is good for 11s in a car as light as mine.
I doubt I will be able to launch that well without another year practice, but I shall try!

A kinked line made me blow a seal on my turbo when i went turbo also. I got mine fixed for free…Buying new, with warrenty is always nice. lol

A block guard is a nice option for sure. I wouldn’t personally use one… mostly because I am a baller. But Lococoin’s civic is running one, I think its still in the top 5 fastest imports in alberta.
The newer block guards are supposed to be just fine now.

I was about 150 Miles away from Vegas last Monday at about 2:00am and just drove about 3000km in less than 30 hrs so my brother and I decided to pull over to sleep in our tent in the middle of the desert. We got it all set up and about to fall asleep and its total silence out since we are over 100 miles away from anything and all of a sudden before I fall asleep I hear foot steps on the gravel coming to the tent, It came right to the tent about 10 steps in total very slowly. I ask my brother if he can hear this and he says yes. I say HEY, WHO"S OUT THERE… nothing. Then I can hear this person pick up gravel from the ground and I can see him walk by the tent cuz there was a bright moon out that night and a shadow was on the tent. Then it starts to drop the gravel on top of the tent. I am like get the fuck away from out tent and… nothing… my brother opens the tent and there was NOTHING in site!!! I was so fucking creped we took the tent apart in less than 30 sec’s and drove to Vegas and slept at the drag strip parking lot instead!!!

I first got into cars and motorsports at age 3 or 4 when my dad took me to the dragstrip, so for a year or two now hes had been planning out a big trip to Vegas with myself and a couple of his friends to go to the NHRA national event down there.
A few hours hey? I think we were up at 4 or 5 AM and leaving the motel. Damn, it woulda been cool to see a fellow NECC Albertan all the way down there in Vegas.
Saw a little segment about this on TV. They are trying to find out how illness affects marine life, like shrimp. I guess they could run for hours and hours. They even strapped mini backpacks to them to try and tire them out. They were also putting crabs on a treadmill. Weird shit.

i truely dislike domestic car owners…i work at a place thats more aimed at domestic performance…being the only person there that even owns an import i obviously get picked on but that doesn’t bug me…what bugs me is how they are compltely oblivious to anything but v8s or 1/4 mile racing (and yes they also like nascar)
when askin them if they ever brought their car to an auto-x event they immediately respond with “real racing is done on the 1/4 mile” and “there is no tracks in edmonton anyways”
