Who I have to get a little credit to for trying to withhold pay from the NY Senate.
I really feel bad for Paterson sometimes. He wanted the right change when he started but got beat down. Since he has way more name recognition than any of the basically nameless senators he takes the brunt of the blame.
He still does enough stupid shit to deserve a lot of hate though, like tossing that gay marriage thing in right now. I’d like to see it go for a vote too but lets get the critical stuff out of the way and clear this monstrous blockade before you start giving them raw steel and a welder to reinforce the blockade.
Yeah, I’d actually consider voting for him in the primary if it wouldn’t mean a certain loss. I’ll have to support Cuomo, but think he got a raw deal. Cuomo def scored some points in this area taking down that collections scumbag this week, and just does little things like making sure the people that got screwed due to rain at the US Open got free tickets for Monday instead.
