Recommend me a good transmission shop

Well the Drive gear on my 97 V6 Explorer just stopped working so i had to get it home using the 2 gear(all other gears work except drive). Im pretty sure it needs a tranny rebuild. Just wondering if anybody has some good references for a cheap tranny rebuild from a local shop. I have another car to drive so if i could save a few bucks for sacrificing how long its gunna take then thats fine. Let me know if you know anything.

“Cheap” rebuild for that trans … never gonna happen … gonna be like $1500-$2000 to get it done right …

there is a guy in roch. that has a complete running v-8 truck that has a bad front diff for $600 … theres your tranny … or just swap your front diff
