Recommend one program

I’m always looking for new software and I just started using a program that I thought I would share. I’m sure there are a lot of threads like this, but most seem to list multiple programs per post, without going into real explanation of the program. I’m just going to list one.

EasyTAG - Linux, Win32 - http://easytag.sourceforge.net/

I’ve been going through my audio collection cleaning up the tags/filenames and this program has been fucking great. I think the most useful feature is the CDDB search, where I can highlight an entire album and do a CDDB search on it and have it automatically insert tags (if the CD is in the CDDB database) and rename files. I’ve always used this when ripping CD’s but I’ve never seen it available for already ripped cd’s with missing tags.

Also, I’ve only used this program in Ubuntu, so I’m not sure how well the win32 port is.

pretty nice sounding program  my music collection needs organizing something fierce.

thanks for the heads up

make sure it doesn’t give inaccurate tags…

sometimes those automatic taggers fuck you.
