If you want a quality piece; made in Japan and made to order for your car specs; I highly recommend Robson leather…

I ordered from Redline and was greatly disappointed with the quality and fitment…

EDIT… better pic found… they can do your steering wheel and other car parts to match

Robson leather shift/brake boot set: $250 + $15 shipping

Please indicate your vehicle chasis code, colour leather and thread; email parts@onijdm.com to order.

Thanks!
Mitch

One more question are shift knobs universal with any aftermarket shifter?

Example:

B&M Short shifter with this badboy http://www.shopresponse.com/sti_red_stitch_leather_shift_knob.html

Aftermarket (short-shift) kits are vehicle specific; shift knobs are vehicle specific unless you get generic ones that have bushings to accomodate your thread pattern.

+1 for redline, I got mine from them about a year ago, and they still look awsome. Its not red stitching but heres a pic to show the quality, and for something like $75 shipped its very reasonable.

That Robson one looks like ass. Why does it go so high over the shoftknob? And the great thing about Redline is they can make it shorter if you have a shirt shifter. That Robson one is wayyy to big.

By the way, I got an eBay one and it’s amazing, perfect fit, great quality, what seems to be real leather and like 20$ with shipping, but they only come in black with black stiching, anything custom, Redline is the way to go.

It wasn’t the best pic I have at the moment (test fit pic when we were putting the car together) They can custom make it for short shift kits as well; I had ordered Redline before and was disappointed; it didn’t even have the metal bracket…

Here is a link to their work; they do custom interiors too…

how did you get the suede cover on your ashtray?

A trip to fabric land + some spray on glue. I did my glove box and arm rest too, cheap but effective.

DIY, costs like 10 cents.
