Redline Time Attack, Summit Point Raceway, August 16th-17th

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to create a thread for Round 6 of the 2008 Redline Time Attack Series, coming to Summit Point Raceway, the weekend of August 16th-17th. We’ve had folks make the drive down from NY to attend these events in the past and partake in the fun action.

Saturday is an Open Track Day, open to the general public, all makes and models of cars and all skill levels. Sunday is the Time Attack competition, with practice in the morning and Time Attack in the afternoon.

The Summit Point event is getting bigger and bigger each year and is always one of the favorite stops on the series. If you are a racer looking for national media exposure, you will want to attend this event. No other grass-roots racing series offers the level of media coverage that Redline Time Attack does. Doing well at this event will make it easier for you to secure sponsorship for next season!

Typically on the practice day you will get at least 2 hours of practice time.

On the competition day, you have about 1 hour of practice and 2 time attack rounds.

i was interested in the classing and class rules and what is “legal” in “stock” classes
