Growing up, I remember seeing commercials for various laundry detergents and they ALL addressed RING AROUND THE COLLAR as if it were the greatest threat since the cold war.

Well, maybe it was during the cold war. I forget.

Post other selling points you haven’t seen a TV commercial for in a long ass time…

In fact, post up things that used to be frequently televised, but aren’t anymore… I recall seeing a lot of commercials for ketchup as a kid… I can’t think of one I’ve seen in the last 5 years.

Maybe I just don’t watch enough TV.

I do remember RATC.

I also remember that the only medicinal commercials were for Tylenol, Aspirin, and Vicks 44. And not a single one of them had 10 seconds to pitch the product and 20 seconds to describe the disclaimers.
