since spring is around the corner who all rides here and what type of riding do you do?
i try to head down WVA/ohio whenever possible. its usually a 300 to 400 mile ride. redline has been on it before and can state its a good ride.
so whoever is interested lets now get a heads up on who rides and can actually take off a whole sat or sunday and do semi long ride. so we know in advance
I work a swing shift so my days off vary. I can have off during the week or weekend depending on the schedule.
I have done short loops just to go grab a nice lunch up in like Foxboro and then take an alternate route back, to doing western routes to punxy with groups.
I prefer a moderate pace, with common sense intact. I have only had one interesting experience which I made it though and had a good time but after I got home, I shook my head and couldn’t believe I did it…
I have no problem riding faster and then playing catch up. Its when we are doing a constant 140 and crossing double yellows that gives me a pucker facter especially when I have no clue where I’m at.
on these roads you cant do those speeds. fastest I exited some of the bends were 105 also i dont like to pass cars unless my group can pass safely. and i also dont speed on the straights to many cops on them. no where for a cop to hide in the turns
you know ill go. i only got to go on a couple good rides this year so i need to make up for it. im gonna need a new chain and sprocket before I take any long rides
i am down i dont knowif my ass can handle 300 miles and i know the v-twin 800 is not going to keep up with a sport bike, so i wil ljust hang back with munster
