Lol, this is so fake.
It was a “viral video” created to promote our annual Imagine RIT festival. I hate to break it to anyone who fell for it, but a theoretical concept classified as “impossible art” is not actually a staircase at RIT

Actually, reading the comments on that post are quite funny, people trying to guess how it was done. There are no twins, and no “wires and mirrors” in the video, hah. I love the internet.
So here’s the fatal flaw…if the stairs keep “repeating” how did they get into that area? doesn’t appear to be a door. But yeah, architecturally speak, it’s impossible to create this.
Meh, there are nicer staircases, architecturally speaking, but that is pretty bad ass. I would like to visit RIT some day.
I just wanted my mind tombe blown…thanks for nothing Rochester institute of tall tales!
