Launched the new RIT homepage today

After about 4 months of planning, production, and coordination, we finally pushed the new RIT homepage live this morning at about 8 AM. It has some small bugs still, and one of our flash designers re-compressed the already compressed flash images, but… it’s pretty sleek now!

While I played a big role in the entire site, the “Interactive Media / Photo Spotlight” component in the lower right, and the “Follow Us” button and subsequent page were my visions / projects

Feedback welcome, as well as any bugs that you find. The known ones so far are the flash loader freezing up at 45% randomly, as well as the flash carousel inversing the images even more randomly.

well hello Lindsay Berkebile.

The only cute non deaf girl to come out of RIT?

You guys aren’t looking hard enough then!

Very nice - I like update - I haven’t test it on every web browser but it seems like the images when clicking through doesn’t require much resources, which is a good thing

cool!

Very cool. Kinda reminds me of one of the iTunes builds with the clickable pages.

Nice job!

You’re such a creep.

Like it, love it, want some more of it.

Less launching web pages and more launching that Evo, we want 10s ;p

Jk, the site looks great.

Cool.

True. I didn’t have to look hard when I was there. Someone show these guys where the art building is. That’s not the only place to find them, but there’s a higher concentration there.

It’s true :pedo:
