That is most certianly untrue, adelpia did huget hings to expand their market and were in the middle of updrading their infrastructure when all the shit went down. They were about to move the company’s operations to buffalo. I was with the company in 01 and it was nothing but blue sky back then. And then tim regis decided to play monopoly with the company’s money.

The bandwidth was always there but docsis 2.0 wasn’t implemented until mid-late 2005 so it wouldn’t have mattered. Then the modems needed to be swapped in most cases.

Blue sky? It was a great company to work for no doubt, however the systems were crap… Adelphia used a free email system for all of its millions of customers designed for what, 20,000 emails at max?
